Urban Crafts by PALM is a project that’s been going on for over four years now, to give a platform to young people who are occupied with their own craft. Going from drawing on surfboards, digital designs, turning wood and brewing beer to gardening. Every crafter gives his or her own twist to the work they do. Currently all the crafters are competing each other in round 1 where they need to collect as many likes as they can on their video’s on urbancrafts.tv. Every crafter has a two and a half minute video in which they show their craftsmanship and designs. The top four will continue to round 2 together with two crafters that will get a wild card. In round 2 they will have to present themselves to a jury that makes up the top 3.  The winner of the contest will have the opportunity to go to the Burning Man Festival in Nevada. The announcement of the winner will be held at the Vooruit in Ghent on December 18.
