How do Flemish youngsters with Maroccan roots think about politics?
Our findings:
- This specific group of young people plans to vote radically different from the general Flemish population.
- Left-wing parties Sp.a, Groen and PVDA score good. Traditional parties Open VLD and CD&V, along with N-VA and Vlaams Belang don't play an important role in the voting intentions.
- Flemish Maroccan youngsters think politicians can do far more for them. They feel rather under-represented in politics.
- The most important topics for them are education, work and (cultural) diversity.
